Participation and communication
To ensure that the perspective of people who are affected by the health issue under investigation is taken into account in the research, the working group regularly involves patient organizations in its projects, such as S3 guidelines and systematic reviews, for example as part of the following steps:
- Focusing the research question (e.g. in the context of patient workshops)
- Prioritization of patient-relevant endpoints
- Disseminating the research results to the public.
